Responsibility for Student Learning
Flipped Classroom Lesson Plan
|
Direct Instruction Lesson Plan
|
For my Practicum 1, I created two flipped classroom lesson plans for an Algebra 1 lesson. For these lessons, I voiced over the notes so any student viewing them, could follow along. The first lesson is on equations with one variable, where the second lesson is covering parallel and perpendicular lines in algebraic functions.

I created a direct instruction lesson plan for Trigonometry class, on the topic of radians. It is the beginning of a unit, topic, so I took a more direct approach.

Data-Based Lesson Plan
|
Modified Lesson Plan
|
I created a data-based lesson plan where I started with a bell ringer to determine what the students knew before the lesson. Then after teaching the lesson, before the students left the class I gave them an exit slip to see how effective I was, teaching the lesson.

I created a direct instruction less plan, and then took that lesson and modified it for a student with a learning disability.

Practicum 2
For my Practicum II experience, I created and taught two direct instruction geometry lessons on the triangle sum theorem, and congruence between triangles and polygons.
